BVUSD Message from our district office.
DISTRICT NEWS
BENNETT VALLEY UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT

WORDS SPACE ATIONS MATTER

Dear BVUSD Community,

As you may have seen in my August 23 message, BVUSD’s highly-esteemed Business Manager, Rich Parde, will be departing BVUSD in January after over three decades of exemplary service to our district. We are terribly sad to see him go, but are excited for his well-deserved transition into retirement. :)

Since the August 23 message, we have completed a successful search for his successor, and I am thrilled to be announcing Ms. Andee Baridon as BVUSD’s next CBO!

Andee will begin officially in her new role in January, but is already busy preparing for the transition.

Please join me in congratulating Ms. Baridon, and take a moment to reach a short message from her below!

MESSAGE FROM ANDEE BARIDON

Bennett Valley has become my chosen family and community over the last 4 years. Almost every face on campus is familiar, and many of you already know me and my third and first graders attending Yulupa.

I earned my Bachelor of Science at University California Davis and my Research Conduct and Management certificate from University California Berkeley. Currently, I’m pursuing the Association of California School Administrators’ School of Business certification, and am loving the experience!

Before joining Bennett Valley, I had spent over 10 years in both academic and industry research settings, where I gained valuable business management skills. In 2021, I came to BVUSD to help with COVID recovery and joined our Bennett Valley Education Foundation, helping raise funds for the arts through community campaigns and grant writing. Currently, as the district’s Director to the Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs, I support our before/aftercare and enrichment partnerships.

We are very excited about onboarding Ms. Baridon into this exciting new role, and look forward to our continued collaboration with such an important member of our community.

Welcome aboard, Andee!

Sincerely,
Lexie Cala
