SRCS Consolidation Town Hall Meetings & Additional Resources

I know that many of you are closely following the developments at Santa Rosa City Schools (SRCS) regarding their internal school consolidations and closures. This is certainly a challenging time for families who may be impacted, and I want to acknowledge the stress and uncertainty that these conversations elicit.  

To help clarify some of the details and gather input, SRCS has planned a series of Town Hall meetings throughout January, with additional decision-making meetings scheduled for February. Below, you’ll find flyers with details about the dates, times, and locations of these Town Halls. I’ve also included a link to the slide deck being shared at these meetings and to SRCS’s website, which offers additional resources, including an FAQ.

Finally, I want to reassure our community that BVUSD will remain a stable and supportive environment, and we do not anticipate any significant impact on our schools; however, we remain committed to supporting our broader educational community. As space permits, we are also prepared to welcome families seeking new educational opportunities for their children as a result of these changes.
